Lime Plastering
Lime is primarily used on listed buildings, although it can be used on modern builds too. It has become a very fashionable product.
I love architecture and I enjoy working with lime based products. I have worked on a lot of interesting buildings over the years – both internally and externally. A Church, an underground house and an oak timber frame farmhouse have been some of my favourites.
Internal and External Rendering
Internal rendering is a traditional method of rendering onto blocked walls with a plaster top coat.
External rendering is used on block walls, which consists of a two coat system. A scratch coat and a water proof top coat on modern building and extensions.
Other external coloured finish renders available include k-rend, monocouche, Chubb and Parex. None of these require painting.
Jubizol (JUB) Render
Jubizol Render has become very popular recently. It is silicone based and comes in a vast range of colours. I am an approved applicator of their product and have a catalogue of their full range of colours. Alternatively more information can be found on their website.
